Sara Filipova & Koehne Quartet
In their new project, Sara Filipova and the Koehne Quartet bring together contemporary classical music and singer-songwriter artistry.Through extensive listening sessions, Karl Ritter carefully curated pieces and elements from the repertoires of both the Koehne Quartet and singer-songwriter Sara Filipova. Works by composers such as Joanna Lewis, Kurt Schwertsik, Hannes Raffaseder, Thomas Pernes, and Michael Radanovics blend seamlessly with Filipova’s own compositions. In live performances, their musical worlds intertwine in real time, creating distinctive and compelling arrangements. Currently they are recording their album „Merge", which will be released in 2026.
Fudge Summer
The world of music is enriched by the new duo Fudge Summer, offering an exciting blend of hip-hop, R'n'B, and electronics. The charismatic singer and keyboardist Sara Filipova along with the talented drummer and sample artist Max Plattner shape their diverse influences through free improvisation into a captivating experience, which they themselves describe as "Sample Freejazz." Together, they have created a sound body that skillfully combines clear melodies, pulsating beats, and unconventional sounds, all while maintaining a direct connection to their audience. In 2026, they released their first EP "live at Hin & Weg."
